Former active-duty Air Force officer and a founder of OpenSec. An avid information security researcher, Matthew regularly hunts for vulnerabilities and releases tools to demonstrate the effectiveness of attacks and countermeasures. He is currently a Penetration Tester with Blackhills InfoSec.
Former United States Marine Corps Intelligence Analyst and a founder of Open Security. Following his uniformed service, Michael went on to develop curriculum and teach a wide range of topics such as military tactics and strategy, intelligence practices, sensitive site exploitation, and cybersecurity.
Former Air Force officer and a Senior Engineer for OpenSec. He performed computer network operations for the Intelligence Community and it was here that he found his calling. Seeking the challenge that comes form private sector work he left active duty and became a Ethical Hacker for Armor Defense.
Jonathan has eight years of Information Security experience as a United States Air Force Officer. With expertise in both Communications and Network Warfare operations, he provides a valuable perspective to our team. He is a CISSP with a MS in Information Technology from the University of Maryland.
Former Air Force Officer and current OpenSec Engineer. Ryne is well versed in identifying key vulnerabilities and potential attack vectors against network infrastructure. This experience is now used to educate other operators and guide technical research while also being applied to ensure client protection.
Former Air Force Officer and Engineer for Open Security. After developing security operations centers and conducting cyber operations he decided to specialize in a technical civilian career. In addition to his work with OpenSec, he is a Cyber Information Operations Tactics Developer with MacAulay Brown.
As an officer in the Air Force, Chuck was humbled with the opportunity to lead both Special Operations communications teams and offensive cyber operations teams for the Air Force and the Intelligence Community. Now he continues to serve and lead as a Senior Team Lead for OpenSec.
